Hotel Farm Max

Dog Farm Max (Hotel Max) is a mobile app and website designed for dog owners who need reliable care for their pets.

The main goal was simple: create an intuitive booking experience and clearly communicate all services and requirements. The UX focuses on emotional design, simplicity, and clarity, building immediate trust and reassurance for dog owners.

The Pain Point

Dog owners shared specific frustrations during the research phase:

Lack of clear information about hotel requirements
Unclear rules on vaccinations or sterilization caused stress and confusion for dog owners.
Complicated booking forms
Existing booking processes were lengthy, frustrating, and included too many unnecessary steps, making users abandon bookings.
No mobile version or poor mobile optimization
Users reported difficulty or even inability to book on-the-go because most websites weren't designed with mobile devices in mind.
Difficulty comparing prices and services
Hidden or unclear pricing and services made it challenging for dog owners to quickly compare options and confidently choose the best care for their pets.

What was the main challenge?
The biggest challenge was to present all key information in one place, making it simple and transparent for the user. I needed to avoid cluttering the screen with too much content, but at the same time, I wanted visitors to stop and engage right on the homepage.
Why this layout?
I chose a minimal and clear layout to make navigation intuitive and guide users’ attention to the most important elements. The layout was designed to keep actions (like booking or checking requirements) only a tap away.
Did you test anything?
I tested early versions of the booking form to see what information was truly essential and removed any unnecessary fields. This made the process faster and more user-friendly for busy dog owners.

  • Emotional trust: 24/7 live camera access for dog owners.

Results
I started by creating a simple website, focused on building trust through color and clear design. The navigation is highly intuitive and easy for anyone, even for users who are not familiar with technology. Thanks to the navigation button in the menu bar, users can quickly access directions to the hotel right from the site, without having to search in Google Maps. Even after booking, they can instantly find the location with just one tap, making the website feel and work like a real app. The result is a modern, welcoming interface that feels safe, accessible, and effortless to use for everyone.

What I Learned

Creating a seamless user flow requires careful planning and attention to detail at every step.

I learned that if something is missed or not fully thought through early in the process, fixing the flow later,  especially when there are many screens - takes much more time and effort.
Good user experience starts with designing every step clearly, from the very beginning.
